Think about yourself worthy to be called as IT professional, how do you see yourself 10 years from now, what are your strategies to get there? (at least 3000 words)

As I read the first assignment ive reminisced the past, when I was young, in my elementary years the teachers are usually asking their students “what are their dreams?”, “what they want to be in the future?” some of my co students usually answers, they want to be teachers for they want to teach lessons to the children, and they like to write on the board. Some wants to be a nurse so that they can help the injured or ill people, their parents are happy upon hearing those words utter by their children knowing that their children has a good heart. My other classmate also wants to be lawyer, upon having a bad experience in the past, he want to give justice to the death of his father. It nice to know that in the little mind of the children, all they want to be in the future has a good reasons…

But when I was ask by my teacher before, only one thing plays in my mind that I answered with her questions. “ I want to be a Teacher” yeah… it sounds funny, but I like to be a teacher before cause I want to teach children and its nice for me to saw children having so much time enjoying the activities you have given to them. When I was in high school and was about to graduate, I was always asked by my friends what course will I take in college. I was actually having hard time in answering their question cause by that time I don’t want to be a teacher anymore I want something that is related to the business. But know… look where I am, I was actually an IT student, but I don’t have much regret though I have some failing grades cause I was realized that this course have also some relation with business. Hehe….

Arrow As we are task to blog what I want ten years from now….

I can foresee myself as an IT professional but I also want to have a big corporation that focuses on Information Technology services. Hehe..
I want to be rich. Cause its nice feel that you can buy everything.
But before that there are things that I should consider..

Idea IT education..

IT education is very important to be an IT professional, because obviously you can only gain more knowledge about information technology by just finishing your IT education. The It training was also important to, because with these experiences your knowledge will be added by the circumstances you have encountered that will great help you for the risks you will encounter for the future. Moreover, It education nowadays were very in demand. Cause as they say organizations were in need of IT professionals because of the fast changing or evolution of technology.

Idea Job hunting and gaining of experience…

Upon finishing the IT education, you should hunt first a job that is related to the IT so that your It education will be used. In having a job you should treat it as an assignment, do it correctly, analyze problems, foresee risks that you may encounter, do solutions for the risks, and of course do your best. Also in having a job you should give importance to it because your experience in your job can make you more knowledgeable in IT.

Question IT professional…

A Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) is a Certified Public Accountant recognized for his or her unique ability to provide business insight by leveraging knowledge of information relationships and supporting technologies. Unlike other certifications that recognize on a wide scope of skills, the CITP credential is an accounting professional that focuses on information assurance and management, making a CPA among the most trusted business advisor.

The CITP credential is predicated on the fact that in today’s complex business environment, technology plays an ever increasing role in how organizations meet their business obligations, and that no single professional has a more comprehensive understanding of those obligations than a Certified Public Accountant. An increasingly competitive global marketplace has organizations clamoring for better information assurance or additional business insight. While IT professionals have the technical expertise necessary to ensure that IT hardware is secure or technology solutions are properly deployed, they lack the CPA’s perspective and ability to understand the complicated business implications and risks associated with technology.

The CITP credential demonstrates his or her ability to leverage technology to effectively manage information while ensuring the data’s reliability, security, accessibility and relevance. The CITP credential program provides tools, training, and support to help CPAs expand their information management-related services and provide greater benefit to the business and academic communities they serve.
